Haven't had time to do anything yet with the hammer.  Am still trying to measure the firing pin as it sticks out from the breach face.  It really doesn't stick out much at all.....   Will let you know in a couple of days what I find.  I need to get some shim stock to place into the area between the hammer face and the transfer bar to mimic changing the hammer.  
 
All my handloads have fired with no problem.  having real nice results with light loads  Lyman GC 115 FN, 5 gr. Unique.  quiet close range small game load.  
 
My backyard range is only 50' so I find it better to work with the light stuff at home.  Will be going to the range next week to do some testing with the stiffer stuff.
