That sounds fun. I hope to go back sometime and shoot a bunch.... Were there lots of snakes there in TX around the dog towns? That would make me keep a close eye out up close, not just through a spotting scope. thejanitor

You Guys are speaking my Language, I've been dreaming of going on a PD shoot for years. I use to keep a write up about a place in KS and read about it in the evenings before bed time. I would look the place up from time to time just to see what times were still Available. Then one day I was checking on it and read about how the local Gov. in that town had went out and sprayed Poison to kill all the Black Tail PD's in that area., Everyone in that town was going NUTS over it. Seemed the Local People didn't want that. The Dream had been KILLED..... lol....

me too, my post from 4 years ago is still on the front page? Whats wrong with that? My son is about old enough to go on a camping trip with me, so maybe its better I didn't go then. I enjoyed fossils ground hog videos as well! I live in mid MO & still would consider a mid Kansas area or OK hunt/camp out on the cheap.

We can skin a buck we can run a trot line & a country boy can survive

Just a FYI
I called a farmer in ND to see what his cattle/pasture schedule was to see when I could possibly (if my summer allowed) plan a trip out to his farm. I was informed he and all his neighbors had someone come poison the P dogs on their properties. I asked if he knew anyone else I could call and he said every property he knew of that had P dogs on it now is dog free. So before you plan a trip, make sure you call ahead just to verify its worth your time and money. thejanitor
