if it's like the dealings with the
parks and wildlife dept here,
they'd deny any were out and
about unless you showed them
a fresh cat hide

Same here, i know multiple people who have seen the same black or dark colored one not far form my house in ms. Several cops i know have seen it and i have seen it twice and my brother and bunch of his friends saw it about 10 miles from here. I know a couple of guys also who have gotten pictures of them on game cameras too.
There was a black bear spotted across the street from me last year also, of course they deny its here even with pictures on the news.

That picture was taken about 12 miles west of Dumas Texas in a cornfield close to a seed plot off Middlewell Rd, the 8th of this month. The picture was sent to other corporate offices for a certain seed company, several of which are in Iowa.
Sorry cuts, but I know the guy that took the pic. I had tried to post it here on Texas but my phone wouldn't let me. The pic was taken from about 40 ft away, with info think 3 other witnesses including the land owner.

That's too bad! I keep hoping I'll get a chance at one.

Well, I can hook you up down here, but it was 106 today where that cat was. You up for that?😊 I'm gonna sit in the truck with the air conditioning, and it's hotter in that corn.🤗

corn looks too thin, sickly and sparse for iowa, we are on the way to an outstanding year
for crops here.
Out cats are bigger too, one was harvested 10 miles from here, much bigger.

we aren't dry land agriculture : :
we have topsoil, not sand.
that stand of corn can't be over 20, 25k plants per acre
you can plant 2 to three times that if you have rain, nutrients, sun and conditions
favorable. :
