if it's like the dealings with the

Same here, i know multiple people who have seen the same black or dark colored one not far form my house in ms. Several cops i know have seen it and i have seen it twice and my brother and bunch of his friends saw it about 10 miles from here. I know a couple of guys also who have gotten pictures of them on game cameras too.
There was a black bear spotted across the street from me last year also, of course they deny its here even with pictures on the news.
That picture was taken about 12 miles west of Dumas Texas in a cornfield close to a seed plot off Middlewell Rd, the 8th of this month. The picture was sent to other corporate offices for a certain seed company, several of which are in Iowa.
Sorry cuts, but I know the guy that took the pic. I had tried to post it here on Texas but my phone wouldn't let me. The pic was taken from about 40 ft away, with info think 3 other witnesses including the land owner.

we aren't dry land agriculture : :
we have topsoil, not sand.
that stand of corn can't be over 20, 25k plants per acre
you can plant 2 to three times that if you have rain, nutrients, sun and conditions
