Default Pheasant population coming back?

I live about 40 miles north of Wichita. The recent drought of the last few years really hurt the pheasant population. This spring I am seeing considerably more pheasants so I have hope they are coming back. Quail still seem quite scarce however. Anyone else in Kansas seeing the same?

Default Re: Pheasant population coming back?

I live south of ICT an we're seeing birds. Seems like they make a little headway then ya get a drought or worse yet a hail storm. Don't take much big hail to do in a hatch. As for quail, I haven't seen a decent covey in years.
