Trump must be a loser -- he's had almost three weeks in office and he still hasn't fixed Chicago!

(Can't help but wonder how long that will require, it's taken Democrats what, about 200 years to screw it up like it is?)

A day is a long time in Chicago. 45,000 murders, plus all kinds of other felonies. And that's just by the police department.

His first step to help Chicago was to shut off the flow of Syrian refugees.

Seriously? Obama had eight years to fix it and did nothing. Not a single Democrat complained about that.

I've only been there once and I have no desire to ever go back.

I've read that quietly behind the seens, the Feds have sent in more people into Chicago. They are going to do federal prosecution for those who use guns in a crime. (5 years minimum is the fed law). This will help get the ones involved in gun crimes off the streets for a while. This will help. More may be coming.

President Trump also has a problem with the liberal intrenched bureaucracy. He needs his cabint posts filled so they can start weeding out those who don't want to do their jobs, or who procrastinate just because they don't agree with the president. Weeding out these people will take time, thus the freeze on federal hiring.

I remember back in 72 where the USO had set up shop at O'Hare. Free coffee and doughnuts 27/7 for servicemen.
But outside of that I didn't care for the city at all. The sun went down and the hookers came out of the woodwork.
Memphis was even worse than that, the street walkers there started with early shifts.
And they would try to mug you.
