Default New holster

I had a little trouble fitting my Ruger Vaquero in 3 1\2 barrel with a holster. I came across El Paso Saddlery's website. I figured what the heck and pulled the trigger on a Tom Threeperson holster with the fancy carving. The historical significance was the deciding factor. It arrived as promised in 10 weeks, and the holster is a really great piece of work! Just passing it along, so if you are considering buying from them, it is well worth the money!!

Thanks Doug! I'm old enough to remember southwest lawmen were still using Threeperson holsters, just before the Jordan holster became the standard! ;-)

It is a lovely thing, thought about one for my Birdshead New Vaq 45acp too but went Mernickle high ride. Mine is pretty and purposefully functional but I sure like yours!

BEAUTY!!!

I just bought a local made holster up in New Hampshire for the lil Ruger Bearcat I found last year.

Its nice but in a functional way. Nothing like that work of art you have. VERY VERY NICE!!

I have a less expensive more utilitarian holster for it. Now I have to decide if this one is too nice to wear into the woods! Lol Probably not the most well thought out purchase.... ???

Most of us are way careful with our equipment so just stay away from bramble thickets and you are likely OK.
If you just cant stand the thought of messing it up send it to me .

That is nice Leather, Jeff. They do good work. I went with Mernickle. I have a holster/belt combo on order for my 3 3/4 inch Vaquero in 357 Mag. Mine is more utilitarian than western with a snapped strap to hold the gun in the holster. Looking forward to getting it in.

I have never bought a custom rig before. My wife insisted that I get something nice for my up-coming birthday so I splurged on the gun and holster rig. Nothing wrong with a little style in the woods.
