I am pretty happy...
Its The Tactical Practical model, also known as a Glock model 35. This is the long slide version of the FS glock chambered 40 S&W.
IMHO it was a little hi priced @ 550 used... But it had 5 magazines and was wearing a new set of glo worm ADJ sites. Also discovered its got a ZEV trigger kit with bar and springs. Gun is wearing the thickest beaver tail back strap. (Its a GEN4 gun) but missing the take down tool and the remaining back straps. Gun appears to have been fired little, holstered less. NO wear marks but on barrel and those are slight.
I offered 500 OTD and offer was accepted cash money. This will become my 3Gun dedicated handgun, competition only. I think I will have it milled for a Trijicon RMR red dot. But maybe after this season. I have three slides at the GS now having the slides milled to accept red dot sites. One RMR and two Vortex cuts.
Here is the gun as I received it yesterday.
I have never been a fan of the GEN4 guns... It does feel nice and point well in my hand. The slim grip helps in that I think. (Compaired to the G20/29/21 that I shoot regularly) Hope it cycles my light 3.5g CLAYS load... Gonna be a spell before I can test it out.
I have a question someone may know... A few of my frames are "SF" small frame guns and carry the mark just forward of the TD lever and trigger on the side of the frame. I know that that stands for SMALL FRAME. But, This one says "MBS" in same spot...
Any one know what that stands for??
