Default Could use some prayers

t's been a hard week. Friday they took my wife to hospice. I've been her sole caregiver for six years and they told me that I could'nt care for her any more ( broke my heart ). It now takes two cnas to do what I did on my own. It's hard typing thru tears. Last rites are hard the first time but harder the secont. Thanks for listing lost..

I am so sorry for your situation and the illness of your wife. My prayer list is growing today. I know What you are going thru would be hard for anyone, and its hard to think it could be me.

or else...................

God Bless America and Donald Trump !

It's true and easy to say she's going to a 'better place' but it's hard to feel very religious with the immediate pain of a horse standing on your foot or you're facing the painful separation of mortal death to a vital part of your very being.

I can't imagine what it will be like if my wife and best friend of 56 years goes before me - but, point of fact, I hope she does because I don't want HER to endure it. I just hope I have to guts to release her soul to the Lord's care when the time comes.

It sounds like you've fully done your love duty to both your wife and God and you can be thankful of that. Both of you will be in our prayers tonight.

Come quickly Lord Jesus, Amen.

I don't have a Phd, not even a BA. But I do have a DD214.

LOSTCHILD. Patty and I lost both of our Mothers in 2012 just 3 months apart. 4 months of running back and forth to Lou KY and ILL about wore us out. Sounds to me like you gave your very best to care for your wife as God intended for you to do, but if hospice is involved you have fulfilled your duty to God and your wife. In hospice they are pretty liberal with pain meds so she will not suffer. Prayers sent for both of you Sir. CHARLIE.
