I currently have a new Handi Rifle in .45-70.   Does a .17 HMR Handi Rifle barrel fit on the frame of my .45-70 Handi Rifle ?

Ya the barrel will fit BUT it will not work , the firing pin is in the wrong place on the CF frame .
