Put the Browning away till I could get some proper ammo for it, and i finaly did.
500 rounds of boxer primed from  Bofors of Sweden, pretty good stuff, fired off about 30 rounds at the target at 15 yards and once I got used to it it shoot pretty well.
Now I have to work up some loads for it....but first I have to get some snowshoes so I can get to the target board. Grin

Sir Charles and copilot:  did i hear ya talkin' 'bout Swedish Ljungmans?Huh  Yes I did...  Got one and love it but my brass comes out fine.  Most of the ammo I shoot in that rifle is stuff I got from Century Arms when I bought the rifle.  I believe it is 141 or 142 gn ball, and works just fine.

If your brass is getting chewed up during extraction or if you think you might need some new springs, Springfield Sports just ran an add in the Shotgun News on AG 42B parts if either of you need or want some.  I got some spare parts and springs in a canvas roll when I bought my rifle.

My Ag42B is tapped on the left side of the action, below the stock line, for what might be a rail mount for a scope but nobody seems to know of any scope mounts for those rifles.  Are either of yours tapped in the same location?Huh

Would either of you know of a source for replacement stocks?Huh  Thanks.  Mikey.

Mickey...glad you got one, The one I got needed a new home and was cheaper than dirt....yeh...sometimes you find them at yard sales... Grin
I load my own, but havn,t been able to get out and play with it too much yet. Cry what I have found about it is that it likes to throw brass far away, and It,s  a heavy rifle...and accurate  Grin
I think you,l like it...as for being drilled for mounts , It,s been awhile since I had mine apart and can,t remember "senior moment" Huh
As for stocks  Huh?

Received the 1907 holster today.  The pistol and the two spare mags fit perfectly.

I have a low serial number FN model 1903 that was originally in 9mm Browning long, but someone inserted a bushing to convert it to 380 Auto.

I really like it as it is a marvel of manufacturing and pure Browning design.  The downside is that the magazine stinks.  It has to be one of Browning's worst magazines with the slot up the side.  If I am not careful in loading the last round, a full clip of bullets will spring out the magazine.

Here is an article about the 1903 Browning.

Here is the article on the Husqvarna  m/07

http://www.gotavapen.se/gota/m07/pist07_3.htm

Mine is the early 1917-1919 made version.

Recently I bought a HHHeiser holster on ebay.  It was not identified, but it looked like it belonged to an automatic.  I have some, so I bid & won.  When it arrived, I saw on the back;
..  the oval makers mark
..  "9" above and "920" below the mark
..  Near the strap that retains the belt loop was hand marked "H.S. H.P.41/2"

I tried the INGLIS Hi Power.  It was too tight.  Then the m/07.  It fits like it was made for it!

Google showed me this;  I think I lucked out!
