hey, y'all ! finally triiggerd a few rounds the other day and was pleased with some promising groups from my bc carbine. at 30 paces it gave me 2' to 2 1/4' groups with the open sights and my aging eyes. sure good enuff for casual plinking and, with some load tweaking, minute of white-tail out to 75 yards or so. past that she'll have to wear glass. with the last three rounds i was 3 for 3 on a 1lb coffee can. BTW, i notice on the rear sight a slot and screw that look like they might accept a sight blade of some sort. any body have any info on that or is it just part of the animal? thanks, dinger

The screw is to loosen and make fine elevation adjustments of the insert in the rear sight. Once you get it sighted in, be sure to stake the dovetail or the rear sight will get knocked out of alignment, it's just sitting in the slot in the barrel. I pushed mine out with my finger as I can't use em.

I shot a nice 1¾" cloverleaf at 100yds with mine using a Weaver V3 scope on it and 250gr Speer GDHPs over a max load of lil'gun at a little over 1900fps, it's a nice shooting little gun, I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy.
