Just received my Mueller 8-25x44 tactical scope.  I mounted it on a 223 bull with a Choate varmit stock.  This is the first one I have purchased.  I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the optics.  It doesn't wink as much at 25x as some I have on the lower powers.

I have a Burris, Millet. Tasco, Hunter Wicked, and 4200 elite.  This Mueller has almost the clarity and resolution of the 4200 and it is a lower power hunting scope(max.6x).  Seems like a lot of scope for the money.  I paid 159 with free shipping and a free sunshade from oneclickshooting.

Looks like they could be a contender with the big boys!

Glad to hear that about the Mueller.  Let us know how it does at the range.  By the way, what rings did you go with?

I am looking to put the same scope on my 243 bull. Let us know how it holds up.

Handiman,

I used Millet angle locs medium height.  I like the millet and weaver extension rings, they let you mount the scope a little further back to get a good sight picture.  This Mueller is long enough that I didn't need them.

Dale,

I will post a range report after I take it out.  Maybe a week or so.

Mueller makes a good product and that's why four of my rifles are wearing them!  Wink
