I have a 3.5x10 bushnell banner dusk to dawn on my handi 17hmr and am wondering if it would handle the recoil if I put it on my handi 30 06.  Anyone have one of this mounted on a big bore.  I'v heard conficting reports from friends and would like to know what other handi owners think or have tried. Thanks. Hunting season is almost over here in British Columbia (whiteatails end next week so I'm thinking for next year)

Since it's designed as a rimfire scope, I don't know if I'd want to risk ruining it, you might give Bushnell a call and ask em, the Canadian service number is  (800) 361-5702.

I don't think Bushnell will stick their neck out and tell you a rimfire scope is ok
on a 30-06. All you do is void the warranty by using it on other than a rimfire.

Those banner scopes work real well for the price!

I've got one on my rifle, and it's a keeper!

Didn't know Bushnell made that scope. If I didn't already have a 6x24 (so I can see the little holes at 100 yards) on my .17 HMR I'd try it since my rifle range won't let me use it on the 100 yd range anymore. It's not the same scope but I do have the Banner 3x9 on my 30-06 Handi and it works great. Has a little quirk though. At 9x two clicks equals 1 inch at 100 yards ... at 6x or below 4 clicks equals 1 inch down range. Once it's set point of aim is the same at any power. Took a few rounds and a little frustration figuring that out.

Just read today that  costco in Canada has a decent price on browning scopes as far as it has been determined they are made by Bushnell (some sort of 3200-4200 hybred) for Browning. I

The Browning scopes were made by Bushnell to Elite 3200 specs without the Rainguard coating,  Natchez has had them on closeout for a while now. Bushnell has purchased by MidOcean Partners, so that might change things, the link below is posted on the Browning Optics website press releases.
