Rod B: that is one nice lookin' TT33. I'm glad to see them back on the market. I'm thinking of getting a second one for personal carry, either a TT33 or one of the Romanian pistols. The 7.62x25mm round is quite powerful.
tn_junk: be careful when buying surpluus ammo for those CZ52s or reloading for some of those older pistols. Check the mil-surp forum for threads on surplus ammo warnings for the 7.62x25mm round. The CZ52 is a real workhorse and quite strong but some reloading data can be quite misleading. You may wish to check out Ron Reeds site for data on the 7.62x25mm round.
I was given a set of reloading dies for the 7.62x25mm and had some questions about the loading data that accompanied the dies - I ran the data past Ron and his advice was not to use the data as some of the loads were way to hot for the old Tok I shoot and even for some CZ52s.
HTH. Mikey.
I ordered a stronger spring and couple boxes of ammo from Ron last week. Came in today. Really fast service.
May do the spring replacement this weekend.
Think I will wait a little on starting to reload.
