Yes, I posted it in this thread on 12-25-07 down in the Modern Muzzleloader Forum. Sounds like a winner, hope it lives up to the hype.

OOPS, so you did...(and I remember reading that thread too, not too carefully it seems).
Well I gave it its own thread both here AND there. Should reach more that way including slipshod 'scanners' like myself. Roll Eyes

Ramshot is the division of Western Powders

is that like winchester/western?

Looks like good stuff, I'll probably try some.

Some new load information for the Sidekick/Huntsman 26" barrel using Blackhorn 209. Scroll down past the MDM, if you get to the Traditions Pursuit you went to far.

Ramshot. Nothing in their webpage about Blackhorn 209, since it wont officially be released until after the SHOT Show February 2-5.

Any thoughts about how well this will work with the .25 ACP set up?
Should it matter?

I'm thinking that a Small Rifle Magnum Primer (SRMP) should do the trick, at least I sure think it would. I'm sure as heck going to give it a try in my Huntsman as soon as I can get some powder. I have some Small Rifle Primers (CCI 400's) in my .25 ACP brass right now that I may try first, might not need a magnum primer.

Sounds great. I really can't complain too much about the T7 though. The crud rings come right off with ammonia based solvents such as the CVA gel on my SS Heritage.

Anybody surprised at how much the cost of ANY type of reloading supplies have gone up?  It's getting to the point where I am considering giving up shotshell reloading.  Of course....don't have much choice with the front stuffer...you've got to have the components.  I still think the prices of  powder, sabots, primers etc. is getting a little ridiculous.
