I called Gary, it's become a low priority until he gets his steel ring backlog caught up, then he'll be back on it.  Undecided

My friend and I are looking forward to the guard and spacer.  Let us know when they are ready.  Blued steel would be fine.  Brass would too.

Brass or blued steel.  Annodized aluminum might be kind of sexy, too. Maybe it's getting too complicated Smiley, but count me in!

Count me in on a set of BRASS.   If I'm going to plunk down the $$$, it might as well be something that adds tasteful flare to the Buffalo Classic.  Simply replacing the black matte plastic with blued steel isn't as exciting to me.

side note:
I just picked up a new BC a few months ago.  Shooting 777 powder only.  So far, following all all the tips from GBO, I've added:   Medium Kick-killer lace recoil pad  (needed to trim leather and redo holes to get tighter fit); Added weight to stock  (freezer bag, epoxy, lead sinkers); Williams FP rear sight; Lyman short .404" globe.

Blued steel. Matte and polished 70 to 80 1 set each. Brass next 1 set 80 to 90. It costs money to customize a rifle sometimes more than the rifle itself.

Quick,
See,s we are just getting a bit of lip service here...  Roll Eyes I mean months and months with just delays and excuses to show for it.
Now, I know, I am serious and am very sure the vast majority here are as well. I'll put my money where my mouth is and pay up front IF a FIRM date is given.
Can we nail down a more certain date than just "be patient"... I can, be patient if I am asking for a favor or someone is putting them selves out for me. But we are looking to purchase a product here, not looking for a favor.

Is there a email we could all have, to request these parts. Maybe he needs to see a bunch of emails for this product to get him a movin... Grin Wink

I am not really mad, just impatient. As I said it has been months and months since he first offered to make these.

Brass for the Target and Buff, blued steel all else. NO Aluminum! It's not like these rifles have a weight problem.

It's part of the trigger group, you have to remove the two lower pins which removes the trigger and latch spring too, see the trigger hone info in the FAQs.
