After a very long absence ive found this wonderful board again! hope all of you are doin well. ive been havin happy thoughts about handi's lately and i think its time i got a new one! im thinkin to start out with a 3030 and move on from there, im a carbine kinda guy so barrels will be gettin cut for sure. im gettin a new truck soon so i think a new truck gun is in the highest order! ya'll have a good one and stay safe

Welcome back. The 30-30 should make a very good truck gun. It should handle anything from ground squirrels up to deer and a coyote too; this side of 200 yards.

Ive been busy growin up quick! i think the last time i signed in was about 4 or 5 years ago.. im 20 years old now in college workin 2 jobs and still have an ever increasing appetite for guns and huntin!

oh yeah i forgot bout that i still have that shotgun to! i cut the barrel off to 20 inches and it now resides under the seat of my truck or b my bed.. for 2 and 4 legged critters it is simply dandy! i just gotta get me some more handi rifles now that pardner is gettin lonely
