hey guys ,
                can anyone suggest a good gunsmith to send a barrel to for rechambering ? i have a 17 hmr barrel that i would like to get rechambered to 17 remington . thanks .

I just did a 17 Remington Fireball chamber on the stubbing project, if you need one of those I have the reamer just sitting here.  Larry

The rim fire barrels are not made with as good of barrel steel as the center fire barrels. You may consider doing the 17 Fire Ball or a 17 Hornet to help the throat last a little longer, just a suggestion, you do what you want, that is one of the things that makes this country great, free choice.
