I have a Mossburg model 935 with a turkey barrel, I just ordered a slug barrel for it.

What are your experiences with it, and how well does yours shoot slugs? Which slugs have you tried.
I know I will have to see what this gun likes, but just trying to get others feed back.

Thanks

Well seeings how no one has one and gave feed back, I thought I would give you an up date on the range results of the Mossberg 935 slug gun. I put an new Nikon slugger BDC 3x9x40 scope on it.

I went to the range today and started my sight in at 25 yards with Lightfield 2 3/4 inch slugs. It only took me 4 shots to get the gun hitting the bull at 25 yards. I did a 3 shot group at 25 yards that looked like one hole. I moved the target out to 50 yards and sighted in the gun per Nikon recommendations for the use of the BDC reticule. 3 shots and I had the gun hitting a 1 inch group. I moved the target to 100 yards, and used the first circle that is the 100 yard sight in the scope, and shot a 3 shot group of 2 inches, basically one big hole in the target in the bullseye. I shot 2 more 3 shot groups at 100 yards with the same results.

I would say the guns is ready to hunt. The felt recoil of this shotgun is less than my Remington 1100 or my Beretta Extrema II slug guns, using the same Lightfields 2 3/4 inch slugs.
The action is very smooth and the gun is very accurate. The gun performed better than I had imagined it would. Over all I am very impressed with the Mossberg.
