how do i find one of the hubbard breech plugs for a 58 huntsman    everyone here speaks very highly of them and i want to switch from 209 to musket caps

Remember you don't need the whole plug all you need is the nipple like I said I have . The nipple screws out of the plug ,the plug itself may or may not be threaded. But all the nipples are threaded just a matter of which thread. Kurt

I think you'll have big trouble finding one for your .58 Grin But other than that I like them Had them when I had the encores and am working on making one up for my .50 huntsman not very fast but if it's in my mind I'm working on it. After I get the .50 done I might convert one of my .58's over but I've never had much blowback from the .58. I use #11 caps and FFG powder in the 58's. Thought I'd try a 209 in one of the 58's thats why I offered the trade.But as far as helping the accuracy it did some but what it really does is nearly eliminates the blowback.

thanks kurt     it is just the blow back that i am thinking of     i will not be shooting "long" range with the front stuffer    i also will switch over the 50 huntsman if i get good results on the 58    maybe i should try the 50 before the 58 as there are more parts for it and easier to get
