I changed the recoil spring in my CZ85DB 9mm pistol and it made a world of difference in recoil.  I went two sizes stronger than the orginal.  The CZ pistol handles even better.  I'm hoping to do my CZ83's and CZ82's springs next.

I have been considering doing this as well.  What weight did you go with?  Is Standard the 14 lb?  I am about to start reloading for this gun and thought the current spring might be all right and am waiting to see.  There are some good thoughts here: http://czechpistols82792.yuku.com/topic/17681/t/Standard-BHP-recoil-Spring-in-the-CZ-75B.html
