We made another trip over to our local candy shop today just to see what he had to offer.
Picked up some more 204s and a couple of used scopes cheap.
He had a real nice ENCORE stainless with a 26" custom shop 220 swift barrel with Leupold mount for $429.00.
I don't have this caliber and was very tempted.
Then I spotted a new sportster in 17HMR that the shop had mounted a new BUSHNELL 3x9x40 on with a syn. stock.
The HX serial # makes it a 2007 if I am not mistaken.
The price out the door was $159.00 with my choice of 1 box of ammo.
The ENCORE was cheep with a custom shop barrel but, I have a RUGER BLACKHAWK in 17HMR and thought that it needed a companion when we went on those little squirrel hunts so I saved some money and came home with another H&R!
I just love going to the CANDY SHOP!!!!!

You are so right, it is a single six!
I have a bad habit of calling them all blackhawks.
Actually I have another bad habit and it showed its ugly head again today at the candy shop.
I saw it and I GOT TO HAVE IT!!

 Wink not really trying to correct you cuz lots of people have custom ruger's not to mention the custom handi work thought you could have like an eight shot 17hmr blackhawk. i wish ruger would do that.

Tom, I hear Yuh.  I just got a Handi .17HMR and now I know I just have to have a Ruger to go with it.     ..............it's all part of the disease!!!
