Well got to do a last min. mod to the truck , pulled into the drive and smelled something odd . turns out that the heater core is leaking  Angry

Talked to my buddy who is a GM service tech and he said to just by-pass it till you get back as it will not hurt anything , and its not cold out , so we'll fix it when I get back .

Lets hope that a late season cold front don't move in .  Grin

 Stimp the first hunt the 2nd day was dam cold  at hooker, and I forgot to take my
  carhart. If Grandpa Mike hadn't loaned me a sweater I would have stayed in the pickup

It looks like I better pack my long johns - the fuzzy ones - maybe a sweat shirt or two and a stocking cap. Grin Grin You could build a duct around the manifold to pipe some heat in Roll Eyes

 Yea Stimpy, this is the ok panhandle, wind 40 to 50 mph.
 I was raised in the mountains of new mexico WE 30 below
 every winter. but I am older can't take heat or cold any more.
