As a long time DW owner, I say get the 357.  You won't be disappointed, they shoot great and 38/357 are much more inexpensive than the 44's.  I regret to this day, selling my 357 DW many years ago, when I was going on an extended tour of the orient and couldn't take it.  Came back and couldn't find a replacement for years.  I won't sell another, and when a good priced one comes along; I jump on it...Gotta get a bigger safe...

Tell you what, that is a decent price, if she is in good to EX condition buy it. If you don't like it I'll buy it from you. How is that for recommendation!

Hey Ron
I have 2 357 mags and a 357 SuperMag.  Are you saying you will buy one of the 357 mags  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I have to agree with Ron if the gun is in decent shape that is a fair price.  If the gun does not come with the tools you can always get them from Dan Wesson.

Also, I have the 44 Mag and 44 Supermag and found I still go to the .357 for backup when I go deer hunting.
