What are your opinions on this product ? Do you think it would help in an area where you can't use dogs or bait? Thank you for any replies.

www.bearscents.com  A friend in FL had an a h neighbor who was dumping his garbage on my friends property instead of putting it in a supplied dumpster so I suggested he buy some bearscents and coat the AH's vehicle and porch so he could become well acquainted with Ursus americanus!I learned  more about attractants from a F&W Service Predator & Rodent Control Agent when I was a student in wildlife mgt at the univ of az.Stink baits rule: calf brains, limburger cheese, beaver caster, female coyote urine, female bobcat urine plus fish put it in a gallon jar and leave out in the az desert sun to ripen & stir the mixture but make sure you check where the  the breezes are blowing .

Never heard of bear urine being used for anything but getting guys (hunters) to spend their money.
Around here, (Va. and WV,) the wildlife "officials" use Anise Extract (purchased at the local grocery store) to get bears to come and get into a live-trap. If the smell reaches a bear's nose he'll be coming right along.
You'll see lots of critters coming to investigate that stuff.
Don't get it on you!

I tried to use bear urine once. I couldn;t get anyone to hold the cup while the bear did its business. Thus no luck:(
