I called Matt to check on your member group which is different that others members for some reason, he advised to remove you from that group which I did......and it deleted your account!! So you'll have to reregister and he'll see if he can assign your previous posts to your new account. You should be able to post in the classified with your new account. Tim After some more research Matt's pretty sure he can restore your account, all you'll have to do is create a new password, you shouldn't have to reregister. He should have it fixed by tomorrow.
Sorry about that,
Tim

That particular thread is locked, jpred1. That's why you can't see a reply box on it. How about other threads? Do you see a reply box on them?

I'd hate to think he's lost his account and all his previous posting history just cuz a thread was locked and no one realized it. Matt's down at the pond fishing rat now so sure ain't working on it at this time. They think they're gonna catch enough to have a big family fish fry but unless I go down and catch them I doubt we'll have enough for 7 adults and 7 kids three of which are almost adults.

You have some hard work to do there GB. But someone has to do it. Might as well be the boss, so it gets done correctly. Have fun!

That makes sense if that was the only problem, but he couldn't start a new topic either. Matt was pretty sure he could restore his account, we have his member number, he just needs time to get to it, family night, catfishing and catfish eatin take precedence!! Tim How come I cannot reply or start a new thread? Im sure Im not doing something right. Thanks

Yeah I discussed it with Matt awhile ago while he was cleaning fish. He seems to think he can just reassign the old account number to the new account and all will be as it was. He said there is some problem with the old GBOSBFRO member group. Seems to me like just deleting the group would be the easiest way to deal with that as that group has no further significance here.
BTW with about a half dozen or more of them fishing they manage to handle the chore of getting enough for the fish fry without me having to go down and take care of it for them.

After taking inventory I think it was more like a dozen of them fishing. At least I took good care of the eating part of the chore. I think I ate that pound and a half or so you told Matt to eat for you and my share as well. They're all gone now and things are back to normal around here. BTW did I mention that I'm kinda full after eating all that fish?

I was not able to reset the date registered or time online stats but all your posts and any pm's should be restored to your account as of now.
Fish was great Tim you missed out... I had lots of fun and so did the kids... the big and little ones...

How is the best way to sell some rifle parts for a marlin lever action and where do I put the add. I am new to the forum and not real good at computer work. I'm not even sure I can find my way back to this point to see what the answer is. Help.

Parts would be posted in the general classifieds, the receiver or a complete firearm would go in the Firearms and Ammunition Classifieds. Please read the rules sticky thoroughly prior to posting there, the rules are in the upper brown section of all classified forums.
