Seems like I wouldn't have to fire that nasty corrosive primer milsurp if I had the option.

gandog:  Try Federal Arms for a 9mm barrel for that cz52.  As for all that corrosive mil-surp 7.62x25mm ammo - there have been lots of warnings about that stuff, as in 'avoid it' and purchase newer ammo from either Sellier and Bellot or PRVI.

However, the same cautionary note applies to all that nasty corrosive 9mm mil-surp stuff out there too.

Might also try Numrich for parts.  www.e-gunparts.com.

Best I've heard on the 9mm barrels is to keep checking ebay, gunbroker, and auction arms.  They show up there occasionally.  I don't think anyone makes them anymore (surprising, since they seem to sell like mad), so they typically fetch a good price.  Doesn't seem like anybody has any stock left to sell en masse anymore.

Good luck on it though - I'm looking for one myself.  I like my CZ-52 but these days it's just become more economical and simple to take 1 type of ammo to the range to shoot all my guns, so I'm trying to settle on 9mm for everything Smiley.

I worked at a gun shop and although I sold everything from Sig to Kimber, the CZ52 was the only handgun people actually came back and thanked me for selling it to them.  I also once had a customer brought in a CZ52 that was blowing out case mouths.  Turned out he had bought a used gun and did not read the barrel was now a 38 Super.  Wish i could find one of those 38 Super barrels for mine.
