I don't know if anyone is ahead of me for the MAX reamer, but how do I get on the list?

Kevin
Good question. I guess you could just pm myself or Tim and ask for it.
What do you think Tim?

What about having a show and tell, instructions or a school at some event like the prarie dog shoot or some other event to instruct some of the techniques in the FAQ's. I would be willing to pay a fee for the schooling if I could get to the event. A lot of the concepts are not easy to visualize, I am a learn by hands on doing type. eddiegjr

Maybe a video on YouTube?  Just a thought.

Just PM me for the 357max reamer, I don't have a video cam to do one,  but I don't really think a video is necessary, it's just too simple.  Wink There are good instructions in the FAQs, just never turn the reamer backwards, always turn it clockwise in the cutting direction and use lots of cutting oil, it doesn't hurt to remove the reamer every few turns to clean the cuttings off, and go slow keeping the reamer inline with the bore, mounted vertical in a bench vice is the easiest way to do that, don't use the ends of the reamer handle for torque, try to turn it from as near the center as possible, the last two I did I used a nut driver and a 3/8" square drive socket so I'm just twisting the reamer and I'm less likely to end up cutting an egg shaped chamber by too much side force.

I just returned the Max reamer to Tim.  Thanks Tim.  Smiley   It was very very easy to do.

I am considering buying a 454 casull reamer to offer to the list.  How many of you guys would be interested?  I would have to special order it, as no place I can find has it in stock.  I would just like to get an approximate number to see If I would be able to move past the cost point and to the point where money would be donated to the site.

I'd be interested in the .357 Max. reamer when I get my .357 Mag. barrel back from H&R.

Looks like there are only 3 of us interested in the 454.  I don't see how it would get us to the point of donating to the site.  Sad

on the 454 wouldnt you just go to 460 SW so you can shoot the 45lc the 454 and the 460 ammo?

Yes it can be done.  Tim did his, but last I heard from him he hadn't dialed in the accuracy yet.  I already have a 45-70, so the 460 is not really needed.  I figure the 454 barrel will be more accurate with the 45 colt rounds than the 460 would be, but that may prove to be incorrect too.

You are now, there are two ahead of you though and the reamer isn't back yet, it should be here today or tomorrow.
