Has anyone used these before on a ruger blackhawk?  I know they are popular but will they fit my flattop, or are they for new model blackhawks only?

Call'em up and ask ~ found them easy to talk to

Weigand makes a very good product and is good to do biz with.  I don't have Ruger base but I do have others.  He well discount his rings if bought with a base/rail.

I have never called Weigand but I have emailed him twice and never got a response.
Maybe because what I asked for (a mount for a Tauras Tracker W/O rib) he didn't have and didn't have the courtesy to write me back.

I recently had occasion to Email Weigand about a base for my new Ruger Flattops. His lady answered, we talked a bit back and forth, and they suggested I buy their base for the BFR revolver as it should work. I have received the base but have not yet installed it.

I would like to give more specific information but I don't have it, as yet.

I have used the Weigand base on my S&W revolvers. It fit well and worked well. I haven't used the Weigand base for the Ruger single actions. It appears the base for the NMBH requires a couple of holes in the top strap.
