monday mornin i was on my way to the beaver pond and i jumped 3 does...later on i checked one of my channel sets and found that my conibear had been set off, but there wasnt a beaver in the trap. not too long after that I saw a young buck wandereing around on the ice. It looked disoriented...some type of disease or brain parasite I guess.

One thing about the trapping forum--we are costantly monitored by those that want to stop trapping.
Many of the things posted on trapping forums, are taken out of context and posted on anti web sites. In an effort to discredit trappers.
We must monitor ourselves as to what we post. What may be posted as a joke--may come back to haunt us.

At times it is possible for me to forget that not eveyone understands the humor that some of us enjoy as trappers. Got my hand in a 330 earlier this wk. Didn't really think a deer would be out there and certainly not do that.
