when useing coni. for beaver sets do you guys use a lot of sticks to fence the beaver into your traps? i had several beaver the last couple of days  go around my traps and go up the bank right next to my trap.they do the same returning to the water.

im not a beaver trapper but ive got a few like this.

 I will lay logs, big sticks --tires --or whatever I have from the springs all the way back to my mound.I am not afraid to use whatever blocking it takes to persuade the beaver to go through the trap. I do have them go around at times, but usually get them on the way out.

I  use a lot of 2 inch thick sticks to block the space between the trap and bank...i also use a dive stick on top of the trap.
