Pre 1899 Cannons

[Double D]

In order for a our larger cannons to be considered antiques and not subject to ATF requirements they have to meet two criteria.

1. Not capable of firing fixed ammunition
2. Manufactured in or before 1898[/list:u]  
They can also be replicas of guns meeting the above criteria.

To help identify guns meeting this criteria I am opening this post.  This post will contain links to websites showing pre 1899 cannons.

This post will be left open so you may post to it at anytime.  There will be a link to this post put in the reference library sticky at the top of the board.  If you find a site to post to this board and you can't find this board go to the reference library and click on the link.  This post will then open and you can post to it.  It is preferred that you post websites that have pictures.  Websites giving year made are also useful

I found some pictures of WWI cannons of which some of these are pre-1898 models.  Here is the site

                      Scroll down to Artillery section and check them out.  I would make sure to verify that its a pre 98 model before you build... Some neat stuff, especially the recoil cylinder and small arms shield.
