I know the 35 whelen was made not sure for how long though. The reason I am asking is I am going to an gun auction that will be having one for sale this weekend. The condition is like new with box and papers for the gun. Could anyone tell me any info about the the H&R 25 whelen and a ball park price so I don't pay to much for it.

A lot depends on your part of the country. Around here, a New-In-Box RMEF Edition will bring $350.00 and up. But also remember that the NEF Handi 35 Whelen is going to be factory available this summer.

Just be aware that the new .35 Whelen will have a 22" barrel, not the 26" barrel of the RMEF model.  Might make a differance to some folks.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

A 26" barrel can be shortened.  A 22" barrel cannot be lengthened.
