My 445 with the 10" scoped barrel also have an 8"VH barrel. I never get tired shooting this at the range.

DW Model 15 .357 Mag originally had a 4" barrel. I bought the 6" to give a little more accuracy for target shooting and hunting.

The pictures of the 44 mag  and 357 mag do not do justice to the grips...

Blaserman, can you fix the link on that image? I can only see the thumbnail, and I sure would like to see those beauties up close. Smiley

Here's a picture I took today.  6" ported DW 744 with a 1X30 Red Head red dot on a B-Square base.  It weighs 69.5 ounces empty.

Paul,
That looks a lot mike my hunitng rig, except my 44 is blue and I have a Bushnell handgun scope on it.  My scoped 6" 44 has put 6 shots into 2 cloverleafed 44 caliber holes from a rest at 25 yards.  It is so accurate it is scary.  I really like your stainless 44.  I wish my blue one was stainless, but I already have all the extra barrels (5) in blue, so I would have a lot to replace to change over to stainless at this point.

Thanks for the pics.  I am glad to see more people posting more pics.  Keep'em coming guys.

Roll Tide,

I am using the 6" ported instead of my 8" barrels just because I will probably use 240 gr Magtech JSPs for hunting and I like to shoot cast once in a while.  Cast is a little bit of a problem with a ported barell, unless you clean often, so I can use the unported 8" with cast and still have the 6" dedicated for jacketed bullets.  A friend in MS, kinda in between us, is converting a front sight to neon green for me for the 8" shroud.  I just can't see the white, red and yellow colored inserts I have now, so hopefully the green will help.

As soon as I can get around to it, I'll post a new picture of my 6" 715.  I'll put the neon green on it and maybe I can get it to show up.

Blaserman,

I use Irfanview to work over my photos.  It's a free download at www.irfanview.com  Most of the time a 640X480 picture will fit most screens.  Then you just have to set the degree of compression to get the file small enough.  If you right click on the picture I posted and select properties, you will see the actual size of the photo and file size I posted.  I try to keep my file sizes under 50K for slow dialup users, like me.  Natural light does help reduce glare from the flash going off.

As promised, here's my DW 715 with a newly converted red ramp front sight.  The sight was "painted" with a white base color and then coated with neon green (Birchwood Casey Super Bright Touch-up Sight Pens).  The original color inserts I have (Yellow, Red and White) have just gotten to where I can't see them any more, so I decided to try Neon Green.  The only thing I did when it got here was to color in the red insert on the sides.  I just didn't like displaying Christmas colors!

I'm not the greatest photographer and sometimes my efforts verify that!  Cry

Here's a picture comparing my 744 with a 6" ported shroud (look closely and you can see the port about 1/2" back of the front end of the red dot base/mount) installed and a 715 without ports.  On the right side, there's an 8" ported shroud next to an 8" non-ported barrel and that's next to an 8" ported barrel.

Hello everyone..First post here..so I'd thought I'd post a pic.

This is my DW 15-2 with a snubbie barrel.  I've own this gun for 28 years.

Through the years this gun has served me well as personal protection as well as an excellent target shooter.

I will never sell this gun and will hand it down to my son someday so he can enjoy for many years.

I still have the original DW retail price list dated April 1, 1978 which lists all the revolvers and accessories.

I'll see if I can figure out a way to scan and post it on the forum here in case anyone would like to use it for reference purposes.

He guys,

Here's my DW model 15 with 6" barrel.

Here it is in a bigger size.

The poor quality is due to the fact that I only have a cameraphone, and not a real digital camera.

Here one my family got me for Christmas last year. Monson model 357, five digit serial number. I've never seen another pair of grips like these.  Does anybody know anything about them?
