For an up coming project, I decided to build one of these to see what it looked like. It is a barrel called a "Pack Parrott". None are known to exist, and there is no record of any ever built. As far as I know. Kind of a mean looking barrel I think. This is a quarter scale version. It is 9" long and machined out of 2.250" 1018 shaft. After the trunnions are welded on I will paint it Black.

Wes,

I was searching for a thread of yours about casting cap-squares and came across this one; I don't recall seeing this before, in my opinion it is a miniature gem. I can't believe that no one posted any comments on it, the Philistines.

Well done.  Are you going to make a pack carriage for it?

That is one beautiful little warrior! Great concept, well made, tough and strong looking, but elegant! I really like this design and also the way Wesley made it! Good Job, and I wonder if there are any more out there, or, will "Powder Keg" make them again? BoomLover
