New 17HMR w/Bumble Bee stocks I plan on having the bbl fluted then match the yellow in the fluting. This one has a 2-7x32 AO BSA Sweet 17 scope medium rings and Fred's hammer bob.

This is what my son will be using this year for turkey. Last year we missed a little jake a 8yds because he was sooo excited he forgot to cheek the stock. I figure at 2x He'll have a little better form even if he gets turkey fever again. I got this barrel for me but it fit his Pardner set up and I started thinking about the scope since it was tapped. I'll have to let him shoot it a while and see if it will work out. JerryKo

 It's a 25-20 made from a H&R 28ga shotgun. Have a stock BC with a 38-55 barrel, both with vernier sights also ... That's All Folks!

Sorry Kurt, not sure what ya mean. For turkey we'll try 3"high brass #5 federals. Should work great if we keep em close. I just started working some 444 brass for the 45 part of it. Might get to shoot at lunch, but will mostly be to form the brass. Loaded up some 200 gr lasercast swc and about 50 grns weighed, of 2fg clearshot. I ran the tips thru the 45 lee fact crimp die to smooth out the flare, but its still alittle tight. I was able to use my 45/70 seating die to seat the lasercasts. I get 1300 fps out of the 45/70 with 55 grns weighed 2fg CS and 405 gr lasercasts, so I should have a little speed demon here. I'll be using a SB2 frame for this though. Not sure if i'll chrony or not. I only made up five and have no idea where they'll print. Mostly just some experimentation after a sandwich. Jerry

My 445 SM. I think it's cool how you can mix and match barrels, stocks and frames and come up with all kinds of configurations. I still wanna find a barrel band and maybe a forend cap for this one

EVOC ONE and navylawdog-Thanks for the comments. Reshaping the stock didn't take long but the finish work always does. Took 5 oz off the weight of the gun. Even tho I haven't shot this gun yet I like this little rifle. If it dries up enough around here I might shoot this weekend. When I do I'll post a range report. Dave

Fat NDN,
Where did you get that sticker??? I could use a couple of them and I know my dad would want one.
Greg
My daughter brought it back from a trip to OK. I am a Chippewa from Turtle Mountain Reservation in Belcourt, ND. That is the way I really feel.

Fat NDN Apparently you reload. What kind of accuracy are you getting out of your 204? I have one on order. Was hoping it would be in on Friday but its not here yet. I'll be reloading for it also. Dave
As for reloading, well I'm still working on that. Almost tossed the rifle a few times. It will not shoot 39 gr SBK's, but does shoot 32 gr Nosler Ballistic Tips. Dog Town's from Midway are out of the question. I am switching from Varget to Benchmark and then probably to BL-C2 powder.

Here is my addiction, I mean collection 17m2 w/ stock I painted, 308 ultra, 4570 BC, 2 20 gauge ush, pardner 12 gauge that I cut to 20" and JB welded a scope rail on. I also painted the stock w/ some textured paint, and last but not least is my SB1 F10 that I refinshed the stock on and JB welded some rifle sights

Not much traffic here lately huh.. Well, I have a couple new to my "collection" ... I picked up a 16GA with walnut stocks, old and very nice condition. Then the 38-55 Target from warrior. I'm waiting on the 44Mag Shakari later this week. Here is a pic the seller sent me. I'll have to check, but I think that brings my total to a nice round 34 pcs!! Tim, You still got the most... (That I know of) But I'm coming along. Just trying to do my best to keep the economy going. Pics of my latest coming shortly!!! CW

Since Matt has all the ad. links down right now, this is the first time I've been able to view all these fine Handi firearms on this thread ( very slow dialup connection). Quite a collection! Thanks for sharing. Here's a shot of my only Handi receiver which began life as a H&R .270 Ultra Comp., shown here with a factory installed .223 standard contour barrel. Additional barrels, purchased from GBO members, include 30-30 and .308 Win Bill
