Here's my .45LC DuraCoated in ACU Deep Gray Green and new T-hole stock. Anyone know what the official color of this stock is? Is it the cinnamon laminate?

The Camo Thumbhole/Mannlicher is a 30-30 and it will shoot a 1 1/4" group at 200 yards. I never had any other 30-30 shoot that good. The 243 will shoot less than a 1" group at 100 yards and I havn't shot the 223 since I changed the stock.

Matt, I ordered the stocks from Gun Stocks Inc. They come semi finished. If you look at their web site, they show the different Laminates but when you look at the stocks sets they offer, they dont show that they offer them in the Midnight Rose. But if you call them and talk to Ed (very nice guy) he will make them up for you. It takes a little time for him to do it as he has to make up the Midnight Rose Laminate, but its worth the wait. Believe me those pictures dont show how good these stocks look. And the way they feel is way above the factory stocks. The bottom rifle has the Varmit forend. I am doing one right now in Camo Laminate, it will have a Thumbhole Buttstock with the Varmit forend.

Those picks of the laminates just make me angry with myself as I got 3 sets to be completed could not do before because of the carpael tunnel got that fixed then before I got started again I've torn another rotator cuff those a very pretty you just can't run sand paper with junk extremities. May try and find a furniture guy or maybe a smith to finish mine as it makes no sence to let them sit and collect dust if it ain't your own dust. Man I love that Rose I had thought the Black and gray was my favorite but that may be changing.Kurt

Here is the "finished for now"stage of redoing my 45-70. It has been fun. Swapped stocks with an old H&R 12-ga. Shaved off the pistol grip. Cut off trigger guard and installed KY style one from DGW. Inlet a large drawer pull into stock. Stripped stock and forearm and refinished with light oak stained poly, one coat only.

Did a little barrel, frame, wood swapping today. Here is a few pics of my newly CUSTOMIZED BC. The barrel is from my old BC. The frame I got from CRO. The maple stock set I got from Fortkevin2. Different, but pretty!

Even tho I have had it for a while, I never posted it here for all to see... Its my 32-20 Winchester: Working on a 25-35 Winchester set up identical, BC stocks case colored SB1 receiver, parkerized barrel and Leupold 2x7 VXII Scope!! I have the scope and the stocks and just today found a "AY" receiver! (1984 mfg my 32-20 has a "AX" 1983 receiver) Both the 32-20 and 25-35 operate well below the 40,000 cup levels. making them good candidates for the SB1 receivers. Yes there are hotter handloads that can be made for both, but that's not why I want them, so factory level loads will work just fine. Nothing else new for me, actually I have sold off a couple duplicate shot gun barrels I never use. I have since been buying SB2 receivers. All but two of my barrels have dedicated receivers. CW

You guys have some great guns. Just got my Choate butt stock and monte carlo checkered fore end in. My gun will be here Saturday. I am really thinking of camouflaging with spray paint and adding a matching red dot or low profile scope. Will add pics when complete.
