This was my first handi. It is the 500S&W. I didn't care much for the plastic "iron sights" that came with it. Old eyes you know. I just put the Red Dot scope on it and haven't had a chance to take it to the range but it handles real nice. Not much to look at compared to the rest of the handi's on here. You guys have a head start on me.

With the colors that Stimpy uses, they should adopt the same colors on the Lema, Ohio swat team.

Here are mine. pretty much right out of the box. On the left and newest handi rifle-In .270 synthetic stock (Cause I beat the crap out of them). Topped with a Tasco 3-9x40 (Again inexpensive scope because it will be dropped in the mud on a deer drive). Little disappointed with this gun at the moment (spent casing are hanging in chamber). On the right sportster chambered in 22LR (squirrel hunter) again topped with Tasco 3-9x40mm. Shes Handi but shes a dandy and Last but not least the star of the show. Old reliable. 12 gauge pardner with modified choke 3" chamber barrell. She is almost 20 years old. Camo'd stock added true glow bead. My baby everything I point at generally falls with one shot.

Shes a Beaut..I had a red dot on my 22LR Sportster and it shot pretty well. Did look kind funny though.

Thanks illy goat. I took it to the range yesterday and got 3/4" groups at 50 yards. Of course that was after doing some minor tinkering I learned on this site. Thanks to all you guys for sharing your experience.

You guys are SICK. Some of you definitely need counselling. Some seriously nice rifles and, WOW, some serious collectors/accumulators among you as well. Where do all the different laminated stocks come from? The factory offerings seem pretty limited. I am impressed to say the least. EJ edited to correct spelling and punctuation.

All the lams in this thread are from H&R, the only ones available from them now are the cinnamon and camo, the only other source for them are aftermarket stocks from our sponsor, www.Gunstocksinc.comTim

Here's a pic taken Monday, the first day of PA rifle season. Nice sized doe walking right towards me....broke her neck at 25 yds with the 400 gr speer flatnose. Number 29 for this ol'45/70. Stock is curly maple from Gunstocks inc, that I did a lot of modification to.

I LIKE that rifle. Any trouble with the rings? (They look like the aluminum Weaver Quad-Locks.)

Thanks Gould. I used textured paint so it actually looks and feels like tree bark. I wanted it to look like the harwood trees I usually hunt out of.

The mannlicher forend is from H&R, give em a call, the may still have one left, $35 shipped as I recollect last year when they found a bag of em in their warehouse, comes with spacer and plastic barrel band.
