Ridiing and hunting.

Cheesehead:
I live in NW Wisconsin and the riding season is relatively short. I have often fantasized about taking my bike out for a day of small game hunting. Maybe a scabbard mounted on the front forks for the shotgun and a handgun in the saddle bags. Anyone ever do this?

S.E.Ak:
I have soft bags and a sissy bar so it helps hauling long guns. I put the case butt in the bag and bungee the barrel to the sissy bar and they haul fine.I've found that a scabard hooked to the front forks realy needs to be lose so I don't do it anymore, they do work ok with a springer if you think about whats moveing when you attach it. I haul my take down bows the same as rifles or shotguns.

Slufoot:
I once put my take-down recurve bow in a hard arrow case and rode my Wide Glide for 3.5 hours to my bro-inlaws and we shot a round of 3-D's. After the shoot I bungied the case back on and rode back home. It was a great day, I'll definitely have to do it again!
