Too cold to ride or what.
Ditchdigger:
Believe or not boys, but I still got cold last Memorial day on Grand Mesa in Colorado .It was 26 dgs.with a 40mph crosswind and all I had on was a leather jacket, and my jeans.I crossed 3 different strips of black ice in blind 20mph curves at 40mph and it was a real pucker moment for awhile. :o :o :o :o Digger
pastorp:
Maybe those "tire heaters" saved you on the ice. ;D I try real hard to avoid snow & ice. I used to handle cold well but since I'm getting closer to seventy than sixty I'm getting soft in my old age. :o
Regards,
Ditchdigger:
Nope wasnt the tire heaters,it was a 70 yr. old gaspasser getting the bike up straight up,and then laying her back over again that saved my ignorant tail. ;D ;D ;D Digger
GRIMJIM:
My friends at work have been riding in. My bike needs a battery so no riding for me yet. Unfortunately there are more important things going on, tuition, mortgage.........................
