CVA Scouts: Extraction? Calibers? What gives?

  When I read reviews of the CVA Scout, most of them come up pretty good. But, whenever I see someone on You Tube shooting one, they seem to have real problems removing the empty shell, often having to grab it and wiggle it and pull pretty hard.  What's up with this?   Is the extraction too weak?  Chambers too rough?   (I've read that extractor problems seem more common in the stainless versions, but I've seen this issue with the blued versions as well.)  One guy I read about had to take an empty shell, coat it with JB Bore paste and spin it in the chamber to get it to function.  Another had to have the extractor removed and filed down.
 
    And, the calibers?   They come in .243 and 7-08, but not .308?   And they come in .44 mag and .45-70, but not .30-30?    Why is CVA ignoring these meat and potato rounds, which are always among the top five or six most popular rounds in America?

The chambers are tight my apex was a little hard pulling out the case at first but after about twenty five shots or so its fine now.

mine also, it is an extractor, thought it was an ejector like the handirifle.but its all good, i killed 1 with the muzzleloader,135 class,and a doe with the rifle in 7mm 08,love the apex.....

My Handi-Rifles have not been ejectyors for years. What gives?

Some guys like the extractor better for reloading but I just block the ejection with my left hand when I'm saving brass. And some dumb A's complained of getting hit in the head with ejected cases and they stopped making them . ::)
