White walls on a Vulcan 1600 Classic. What do ya think guys?
Dee:
I serviced the bike (myself), got all the chrome polished, and am lookin. How would white wall tires look on this bike. Whatatathink guys?
yellowtail3:
Naaaaah.... just something to get dirty.
Took my youngest daughter ( 8-y/0) for ride on the FZ on Friday, and now she won't quit bugging me to take her again (and again, and again, and again). She's a great passenger, leans with me, and waves at everybody.
I'm prob going to get a nasty letter from her Mom and that snake she hired for an attorney.
Dee:
I'm gonna have to think about the white walls. I have always kept the bikes clean anyway. I just can't make up my mind about the look.
Bugflipper:
I don't care for whitewalls. But this stuff is good for cleaning them if you decide on em'. https://www.alice.com/buy/1287862-bar-keepers-friend-kitchen-cleaner-soft-cleanser?p=1287862&&source=google Your local store should have it next to other household cleaners like Comet.
Good to see you back Dee.
Bigeasy:
Nice bike Dee. I think wide whites would look nice on your bike. The Dresser / Heavy Cruiser style seems to lend itself to these tires. I put a pair of wide whites on my 2001 Road King this spring, and like the look compared to the thin white wall style that was on the bike. The pic of the bike with its new tires was taken few weeks ago at bike week in Laconia, NH.
