Will pick up my new Ruger American 270 in a day or two........been trying to find one since they were announced. Handled one in 308 the other day, felt real good, shouldered well.

I checked one out at the gun shop yesterday and it seemed decent for its price range.

well, My American is a shooter, 1/2' group with 130 grain Remington Core-Lokts..........

They have a nice bedding system, steel blocks in the stock.
