Bigfoot ordinance
« on: February 20, 2004, 05:28:56 am »
I heard on the news that the town of Whitehall(I think) in the Adirondacks passed an ordinance that made it illegal to hassle a bigfoot.  They did this because the town has had a history of sitings and they thought that it would bring more attention to the issue and maybe even more tourism dollars from eco-tourists.  Anyone else hear about this??
A bad day of hunting is better than a good day at the golf course.

Hey Spencer,
Your right, theres some really ugly Bigfeeters there. :-D  Cept Whitehalls on the Vermont boarder near Lake Goerge. 35 years ago when we were kids ( under age) we'd go over there on Fri. & Sat. nights and commence to drink a few. There were a lot of them that looked like Ms. Bigfoot, but as the night went on daze started to look like Ms. America  :)

So I can see why they pasted that law, they gotta be protected no matter what it takes. The place is crawling with them
Its a good place for Bulletmaker & Bill to start looking
Blow a vintage Circe dinner bell and they will come...

I guess your trying to sy they look good after a few cold ones? Till the next morning? Kidding  I'm going to checkout my area in Vermont where I'm hearing the sounds I can't explain.  I hope she is a pretty one though on another site I mentioned bigfoot and someone posted its his mother in law screeming in the wilds at night thats what I'm hearing.  I would be afraid of the mother in law before I'd be afraid of bigfoot.   Some of these women are over the edge??  kidding but true.  Be afraid be very afraid.

For bigfoot ordnance, I think I'd use a .30-06. If that doesn't drop him I don't think I want to tangle with one. What's that town where they pass the bigfoot ordnance? I wonder if they'd pass me some .30-06?

Jack - it's the ordinance they passed.  Ordnance is whatcha shootem with.  And Desertyote and Spencer are right, the Town of Whitehall, NY, where the first US Navy was actually started (on the upper Hudson River on the NY side of the Vermont border) and which is a well known haunt for Vermont womens who, as Bigbill said, start looking better after a few beers and from which  I can understand his last statement:  'Be afraid, be very afraid'............. has indeed passed such an ordinance.

I wuz wonce captured by a Vermont woman fer a wile an hain't been rite since.  I mean, it wuz fun an all an I no she never fergot me (er fergave me) but those women ain't quite right an I think sum ov it musta rubbed off.   :-D   Mikey.

Guys I think there is more of these things around than most think there is.  I think these are all over the country I was just looking at the sightings listed by states again.   There are sightings that aren't posted there too.    I did a search for bigfoot in Vermont and sightings go back to the 1800's up there.                                          BigBill

Bulletmaker have you ever seen the droppings from them? What does it look like?

Hi BigBill :D
I ain`t never seen any droppings, or that is that I know of. I did see some strange droppings that was a hugh pile, a lot of red fur in it, and the droppings was about 1 and a half inch in dia. rope like and the pile was about 4 inches high. Ain`t never seen anything like that before. Don`t know what could have made it, but have had Bigfoot sightings in that area before, and took a foot cast of one near there, about 200 yards away from that spot. I know of a guy, that works in a DNA, lab and he told me if I ever find anymore like that, to bring it to him, and he would do a check on it, to see if it came from any animal known.
