My first deer rifle By Big Easy 1-28-09

No serious hunter ever forgets his first deer rifle, or the memories that go with it. If he is lucky, he still has that rifle, to be passed down to a deserving youngster, to carry on the tradition. No big rush though, but when the time is right…

I still have mine, and cherish it for all the traditional reasons. A hard lesson in gun safety and economics came along as a bonus.

I know that Greybeard is not a dedicated concealed carry site, nor is it even a dedicated pistol site, but a lot of the real dedicated sites are kind of militant, let's all go blow up the government, quit paying our taxes, and why can't i have a machine gun kind of places. I feel really at home at Greybeard. just a good bunch of folks, who mostly seem to love the Lord, work hard, pay their taxes, support our government, evben when the gubmenty does really stupid stuff, and like to hunt and fish and shoot.

Is there some reason they can't just leave us alone? Is it too much to ask for us to conduct some harmless activity in our own homes?

Federal hate crimes bill S. 909 has now passed the House of Representatives and is in the Senate Judiciary Committee. As we anticipate Tuesday morning's probable Senate Judiciary hearing on this bill, we should ask, "Who is behind this unthinkable, pedophile-protecting bill?"

Leaders of the Christian conservative right quickly respond, "Liberals and the homosexual lobby!"

That with the new CMS you can change the look of the site. Just click the My Account link and then click on the Edit Tab and scroll sown the page. You will find many themes to choose from and can select any that you wish. Some are better than others but some would take real getting used to. Give it a try and just remember (Garland) is the default if you want to go back to it.

There are gonna be new emmision standards put in place by the administration. Its gonna cost a fortune to buy a little high mileage death trap in the very near future! The pres wants us all to be like californicate. He aint mentioning that californicate is bankrupt due to that kinda thinking and additional doodoo!

Seems to me he wants to take us down a few notches so he can gain more power and his team can run the country forever!
