Default Brought one home, today.

A local store bought out an estate. My Christmas present to myself is a High Standard HD Military with a 4.25" barrel. Bluing is in great condition, although there was some pitting under one of the grips. I've got it all cleaned up and ready to take to the range and get dirty.

From experience, make sure you put the grip screws back in the same holes they came out of. Otherwise they cause the shells to fail to feed from the magazine.

Is there a trick to adjusting the rear sight? It doesn't move very easily.

If I remember right, you tap sideways in the dovetail for windage and rotate the sight back for elevation. Kind of clunky. Mine had to be glued to keep the elevation from changing when shooting.
