That's 2.2 miles. I wonder if they use Forward Observers.

I have read that they were supported by a Predator Drone which likely gave them really good eyes on the target. Apparently there is video confirmation of the shot being made so I assume that would be from the drone that was overhead at the time? I would really like to see that video! I would imagine it will be released/leaked sooner or later..........likely later

iirc, three of the top 5 longest confirmed kills are Canadian snipers.

The top five include a Brit and one American in addition to the three Canadian shooters.

I remember reading that in WW1, the best snipers were Indians from Ontario

it seems shooting a moving target comes natural for them.

kinda like some of their lack of fear of heights
