Default 303 British

How rare are 303 British barrels? They were made at the factory?

Don't believe so. I think they are likely re-chambered 7.62x39 barrels which were offered by H&R for a short time. Someone will correct me if that is wrong.

Under the H&R forums header, in the FAQ's for centerfire rifles there is a list of barrels made with twist rates for factory offered barrels. H&R - NEF did not make a factory 303 barrel. There may be some rechambered or rebored or stubbed barrels out there.

Real trucks dont have spark plugs.

Gun Cabinet

I had a 24 223 heavy barrel rebored & rechambered to 303 Britt by Wayne York. Its a tack driver.

303 Britt is my favorite Handi!
