Default Frankenstein 30/30

All assembled from our classifieds. Checkered camo laminate stock set, 30/30 ejector barrel with factory sights, ultra scope rail, SB2 frame that feels like it's had a trigger job. The 3-9x40 Monarch scope I had already. Only shot to 50 yards so far but it tears a ragged hole with Remington 170 gr Core Lokts.

The straight grip stock is my favorite Topper/Handi handle. That is nice!

Nothing wrong with that build that I can see.

One ragged hole at 50 = Minute of deer heart out to 100 in my book. And that is good enough.

Interests wide and widely varying.
Happily married 18 years. Retired on SS with lots of time to spend.
Started with .223 Ultra Bull barrel. Added .357 Talo barrel. Added an action and stock set bought here, 7.62x39 barrel. Then bought complete guns .444 Marlin and .300 Blackout. Leaving me at 4 complete rifles plus a barrel. Plus a 9mm stub job bought here, and I have been finding and buying H&R shotguns at our local pawn shop where they seem to go cheap.

I forgot....the recoil pad that was on there made it too long a reach for my short arms. In my horse trading I ended up with an H&R buttplate so I put that on which helps a lot. Of course it had to say H&R to match the H&R on the receiver, I'm picky like that hahaha.
