Default Little Bit Of Range Time

Momma's bakin' today so I slipped out to the range for about an hour. The .35 Rem shot some powder coated Lee 200 grain RCBS clones pretty well, but it really likes the 200 grain Hornady Leverevolution rounds.

The crazy thing is that I have to pull the bullets and trim the brass to 1.8" to make them Indiana legal for deer.

Well, at least I don't have to mow the grass for a while!!

Factory is about 1.91", I trim to approx. 1.79" just in case the CO has a dirty caliper.

Yes, Dinny-

I had a good spot of private land up until last year. A friend owned it, but passed it along to a grandson who isn't going to allow hunting.

I live just 3 miles from Wilbur Wright Fish & Wildlife Area. It's pretty small and has a lot of pressure- but that will likely be my place, at least for this season.

Take a look at Outdoor Access. They're a growing business and may not have anything in IN yet but I plan to change that sometime in the next year or so when I list my land in Clark County.

Thanks, Dinny

My clone shows promise. After this season I hope to work on load development. I gas check my PC'd bullets also.

I've also gotten some pretty good groups with NOE's 180 grain WFP mold- but, so far, the 200 grain Leverevolution rounds are accuracy winners in this particular rifle.

My H&R Maxi LOVES my ol group buy 190 WFN bullet sized .360. But my Savage wont chamber it. Its a bit of a bore rider.
But a 190 RD works well. Tonight I loaded some of them sized 360 to try.
Never loaded the maxi with H110/296 that I remember. So I choose that powder too.
